Colour masonry paint testing and stencils
So the weather is looking like rain tomorrow and rain until Thursday next week. It's not possible to prep or paint when there is rain. I'm juggling work leave, rainy days and stages, gah.But from Thursday it looks like it will start to improve:
Thursday 5th/Friday 6th: area gets to dry out
Saturday 7th/Sunday 8th: continued drying, JP can work off old paint, start stabilising
Monday 9th: after work JP continue stabilise walls
Tuesday 10th: start the project with YF coming down to paint in the afternoon
Wednesday 11th - Friday 13th: paint with YF coming down in the afternoons (older kids can come down in the mornings if they like)
Saturday 14th / Sunday 15th: continue and finish up
(Monday 16th morning)
I think if we can get the outer walls done now (kingfisher and fox walls) and do the tunnel and outer arches in May when it's dryer. A whole day, at least, is recommended to let a wall dry and the tunnel already has algae growing so will need a dry spell.
Plan C: May half-term, Monday 28 May - Friday 1 June, for the tunnel inside and outer arches.
